A part of the Quad-Cities for nearly 90 years, the old bridge is disappearing
I worked at WQAD for many years and lived in Davenport. Traffic could often be backed up for miles if there was an accident or stalled car on one of the bridges.
Better driving, no doubt, with the new bridge. I love the character and architecture of the old bridge!
