What a surprise (NOT). Those currently in Iowa’s high offices have thrown themselves onto Trump’s shadow. They are not representing the Iowa that honors people’s rights and lives.
When I visited the Hanging Museum in Alabama I was proud of the fact that Iowa was a state that didn’t have a record of hanging any black people. We now as per your recap of our current representatives feel my sense of pride has all but disappeared. I just wonder if the majority of people we are talking about were white what their decision would be. I know what Trump has said because he is ok with Nordic countries but not anyone else.
The longer the party in power remains, our history as a state that believes in justice degrades. And you're right, our country's immigration policy now clearly is race-based more than anything else.
Bird and Hinson are a Cancer that is currently destroying IOWA---Why is Iowa falling behind in every factor--job creation, failing wage growth, healthcare, and failing bridges and roads. They are part of a Cult that Worships Mr. Trump. They have done absolutely nothing to make IOWA grow and do not care about the folks who voted for them. The 5-4 vote by the court on Birthright citizenship should wake-up the thousands who were born in Iowa---and realize the GOP was NEVER IN OFFICE TO TAKE CARE OF PEOPLE, ONLY TO SATISFY MR. TRUMP.
